This masterclass is for anyone who wants to learn how to design and deliver services that have a positive (rather than negative) impact on the planet. It is suitable for people with experience in designing or running services looking to take a fresh look at their practice.

How it works

All classes are delivered live and online in small classes that are a mix of taught tuition, individual exercises, and group discussion.

Participants work on a service or case study of their choice so all course takeaways are able to be put into action immediately

 

Course modules

 

  • Understand the context of the climate emergency and learn the key facts that highlight the existing threat to humans and the planet

    Relate the global challenge of climate change to your service and/or project through service and systems mapping to help make the case for investing in this work

    Understand how to design services that encourage less use, less waste and promote models of delivery that are circular, regenerative and sustaining

  • From life cycle assessment to regenerative design, learn planet centred design principles and how to apply them to your projects.

    We equip you with the tools and methods to make design decisions with the planet in mind

  • Establish what we can change in our services and what we need to influence stakeholders to invest

    How to place our service design project within the wider climate context
